Sydenham Panthers is a proud junior domestic basketball club located in Melbourne’s North West, competing in the Keilor Basketball Association (KBA).

Founded in 1995 as the Sydenham Saints, with support from the Salvation Army church, we’re now an independent club with a strong community focus.

Our identity is shaped by a commitment to junior basketball, built on inclusion, connection, and a belief that sport should be accessible to all.

We provide a fun and supportive environment where young players can develop on and off the court, and where families are encouraged to be part of the journey through coaching, team support, or club involvement.

Join Us

We’re always looking to welcome new junior players to the Sydenham Basketball Club.

Our club caters for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 years wanting to play in the Keilor Basketball Association (KBA) Junior Domestic competition, across a variety of teams and grades.

Whether your child is just starting out, or already has a few seasons under their belt, we have teams and programs to suit all skill levels and ages, from beginners to competitive players.

We also run a beginner friendly program called Panthers Cubs, designed to build fundamental skills, confidence, and a love for the game. Cubs is a great introduction to basketball and a stepping stone into a Panthers team.

So whether it’s straight into a team or through our Cubs program, we have a place for every player to start, or continue, their basketball journey at Sydenham Panthers.

How to Register

Player registrations are managed through PlayHQ, including payment of season fees. Each season, we send registration links to new and returning players via email and our StackTeam App.

Once you've contacted the club about joining, we will walk you through the registration process to get your child ready for the upcoming season.
